Chamomile is one of the oldest garden herbs, whose reputation as a medicinal plant shows little signs of abatement. The flowers of the herb infused in hot water make a soothing tea with soporific effect. However, it has been used through the ages for its many other medicinal qualities, such as anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic properties.
As a herbal tea it is naturally caffeine free and has a sweet and flowery taste.
